- All the provisions of the said Act, so far as applicable, shall extend and apply to the lands affected by these regulations, and to the applications and leases to be made and issued thereunder, and generally to the interests created, and the persons whose rights, liabilities, or interests are thereby affected; and the mention of any particular provision of the said Act shall not be deemed to exclude any other provision of the said Act applicable to the particular case.

Regulations under “The Government Accident Insurance Act, 1899.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of July, 1901.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and one, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand did, in exercise and pursuance of the powers vested in him by the thirty-fourth section of “The Government Accident Insurance Act, 1899” (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), make regulations for directing, among other things, the use of tables fixing the rates of premium to be charged in connection with accident insurance contracts: And whereas it is expedient to revoke such tables in so far as they relate to the rates of premium for insuring employers and other persons against their collective liability under “The Workers' Compensation for Accidents Act, 1900,” “The Employers' Liability Act, 1882,” and its amendments, and at common law, and to make other provisions in lieu thereof: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in the exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities in this behalf vested in him, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby revoke that portion of the Second Schedule to the said Order in Council prescribing the rates of premium for the collective class of insurance as mentioned aforesaid, and in lieu thereof doth hereby order and direct that the rates contained in the Schedule hereto shall be the rates of premium for insuring employers and other persons against their collective liability under “The Workers' Compensation for Accidents Act, 1900,” “The Employers' Liability Act, 1882,” and its amendments, and at common law respectively; and in further exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities aforesaid, and by and with the like advice and consent aforesaid, His Excellency doth hereby order that this present Order in Council shall take effect on and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
PREMIUM RATES.
The rates of premium shall be computed upon the amount spent in wages, and shall be fixed by the Commissioner having regard to the nature of the risk; provided that in the case of each policy the rate of premium shall not exceed in respect of every £100 paid in wages the sum shown in the subjoined table, according to the category in which, in the opinion of the Commissioner, the risk should be classified.

Notifying Lands in Wellington for Sale by Public Auction.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Tuesday, the third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and one, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto opposite the description of such lands respectively.

This village is situated in a prosperous farming district, the access being from Hunterville, which is about eleven miles distant via the Vinegar Hill Road and bridge and Pakihikura Valley Road, which are formed and metalled to the village. There is also access to Feilding, which is about twenty-six miles distant via the Makino and Waituna Valley Roads, which are also formed and metalled. The sections comprise good soil on papa formation, covered with rimu, with usual undergrowth.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this third day of July, one thousand nine hundred and one.
