THE Loyal Mangonui Lodge, No. 7622, situated at Mangonui, is registered as a branch of the Auckland District of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Manchester Unity, Friendly Society, under “The Friendly Societies Act, 1882,” this 25th day of May, 1901.

Deputy Registrar of Friendly Societies.

Notice by the Public Trustee under “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894.”

To the owner or owners of a parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 100 acres, more or less, being Section 20, Block IV., Katikati Survey District, in the Provincial District of Auckland. The last registered owner is Ethelbert Petrie Hoyle, described as of Katikati, farmer, who is supposed to have left for “America” about eighteen years ago, and it is possible it was for Los Angeles, California; but he cannot be found.

WHEREAS the Public Trustee has instituted inquiries, and has not thereby ascertained who the owner or owners of the above-described land is or are, and believes that such owner is, or owners are, not in the colony:

Now, this notice calls upon such owner or owners, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his or their title to the land specified in this notice; and, if such owner does or owners do not, within the time limited, so establish his or their title, the Public Trustee will exercise the powers and authorities granted to him in and by “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894.”

Dated this 23rd day of May, 1901.

J. W. POYNTON,
