SUK OR PULUSUK, POZOAT.—The following information has been received respecting the reefs and tides in the vicinity of these isls.: a. The Susanne Reef, in approx. 6° 55' N., 149° 15' E., Pulusuk Isl., and the shoal reported in 1886, are connected together by a bank carrying 12 fms. or less. The tide is said to run strongly over this bank, the flood setting to the erd., and the ebb to the wrd. b. The Uranie Bank, in approx. 7° 22' N., 149° 25' E., is said to be connected to Pozoat Isl. c. It seems not improbable that the Gray Feather Bank is of considerable extent, and that the depth of 5 fms. was obtained on a patch near its edge. April.
