IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

to be a Trustee, in the place of John Hutton, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Livingstone Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

Trustees for the Matahuru Cemetery appointed.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

Names of Trustees. Name of Public Cemetery, and Description of Land.
Frederic Harris, John Cheyne, Alexander Grant, Niel Anderson, and Adam Gall. MATAHURU. All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 42B of the Parish of Whangamarino, and containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 42 of the Parish of Whangamarino, 707 links; towards the east by a public road, 707 links; towards the south by Section No. 42 aforesaid, 707 links; and towards the west by the same section, 707 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and one.

Postmasters appointed to take and receive Statutory Declarations.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the eighth section of “The Justices of the Peace Act Amendment Act, 1888,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons named in the Schedule hereto, being persons holding the office of Postmasters under “The Post Office Act, 1881,” at the places set opposite their names respectively in the said Schedule, are authorised to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-and-thirty-fourth section of “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”
