Trustees for the Havelock Cemeteries appointed.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the forty-fifth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the local authority specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to have the control and management of the public cemeteries specified in the second column of the said Schedule.


SCHEDULE.

The Havelock Town Board. HAVELOCK. All that parcel of land in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 25 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 62 and 220, Town of Havelock. Also all that parcel of land in the Marlborough Land District, situate in the Kaituna Valley, containing by admeasurement 10 acres and 3 perches, more or less, being Section No. 109 in the District of Havelock Suburban. Bounded towards the north, east, south, and west by public roads, 835 links, 1200 links, 835 links, and 1200 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less: as the same are delineated on the plans deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Blenheim.

Trustee for the Skipper’s Point Cemetery appointed.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

JOHN STEPHENSON

to be a Trustee, in the place of Andrew Cheyne, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Skipper’s Point Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

Postmaster appointed to take and receive Statutory Declarations.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the eighth section of “The Justices of the Peace Act Amendment Act, 1888,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that

ROBERT HENRY SIMONS,

being a person holding the office of Postmaster, under “The Post Office Act, 1881,” at Mauriceville, is authorised to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-and-thirty-fourth section of “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”
