Native Land Court Notices.

Order under Section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”

IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT OF NEW ZEALAND.

In the matter of Kakepuku No. 2, and of section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”

WHEREAS the Kakepuku No. 2 Block has been partitioned by the Native Land Court at various times into the several subdivisions enumerated in the Schedule hereto: And whereas the said partitions are based on an incorrect estimate of the area of the said block, which has been found to contain 1,370 acres, instead of 1,472 acres as at first supposed: And whereas a further error was made by the Court in omitting to take into account the area of Kakepuku No. 2A when making a subdivision of the supposed residue of the said block: And whereas it is necessary for the correct adjustment of the said subdivision that the areas of the said subdivisions should be proportionately reduced:

Now, therefore, for the purpose aforesaid, and in exercise of the power in that behalf vested in me as Chief Judge of the Native Land Court under section 39 aforesaid, I hereby order that on the survey of the said subdivisions the area of 2A shall be taken to be 43 acres, and that the areas of the remaining subdivisions shall be reduced as necessary to compensate the errors aforesaid, such reduction to be distributed pro rata, and the orders of the Court to be amended accordingly.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Native Appellate Court will be held at Helensville, Kaipara, on the 8th day of January, 1901, to hear and determine the several appeals against the decisions of the Native Land Court set forth in the Schedule hereto. All persons interested are hereby notified to attend at the time and place aforesaid.
