Fixing Time and Place of Nomination and Election of the Tokerau District Maori Land Council under the Provisions of "The Maori Lands Administration Act, 1900."

I, CHRISTOPHER FREKE MAXWELL, the Returning Officer for the Tokerau District Maori Land Council, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a writ under the hand of His Excellency the Governor and the Public Seal of the Colony, bearing date the 4th day of March, 1901, an election will be held for the return of three (3) legally qualified persons to serve as members of the said Tokerau District Maori Land Council; and that the nomination of candidates will take place at the Courthouse at Whangarei at noon on Friday, the 26th day of April, 1901; and that the polling, if necessary, will take place on Friday, the 17th day of May, 1901, at the several polling-places appointed by His Excellency the Governor by a notice under his hand dated the 26th day of December, 1900, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 1, and Kahiti o Niu Tireni No. 2, of the 7th and 16th days of January, 1901, each respectively.

I, RICHARD JOHN GILL, the Returning Officer for the Waiariki District Maori Land Council, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a writ under the hand of His Excellency the Governor and the Public Seal of the Colony, bearing date the 4th day of March, 1901, an election will be held for the return of three (3) legally qualified persons to serve as members of the said Waiariki District Maori Land Council; and that the nomination of candidates will take place at the Courthouse at Opotiki at noon on Friday, the 26th day of April, 1901; and that the polling, if necessary, will take place on Friday, the 17th day of May, 1901, at the several polling-places appointed by His Excellency the Governor by a notice under his hand dated the 26th day of December, 1900, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 1, and Kahiti o Niu Tireni No. 2, of the 7th and 16th days of January, 1901, each respectively.
