NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which has for some time past been carried on by GEORGE SETON VEITCH WENLEY, JOHN RICHARD LANAUZE, and ARTHUR COCHRANE BENNETT, under the style or firm of “Wenley and Lanauze,” in the business of Merchants, Stock and Station Agents, and Auctioneers, was this day dissolved by mutual consent. And notice is also hereby given that the business will in future be carried on as before, under the style or firm of “Wenley and Lanauze,” by the said George Seton Veitch Wenley and John Richard Lanauze, to whom all debts owing to or by the late firm will be received and paid respectively.

PATENT OFFICE SUPPLEMENT.
A SPECIAL Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette is now published fortnightly, containing all notices concerning patents and trade-marks required by law to be gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for patents, expired letters patent, and other information useful to inventors, manufacturers, and others. The Supplement will be issued free to subscribers to the Gazette, and to others on payment of a subscription of ten shillings per annum, payable in advance to the Government Printer.
THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before three o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Public a/c,” and exchange added.
Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are issued.
Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to prevent delay in publication a sufficient remittance should accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be returned with receipted account.
