A PPLICATION having been made to me for the issue of
a provisional Crown lease in the name of JAMES
STONE, of Pongaroa, Gardener, for Section 6, Block VIII.,
Mount Cerberus Survey District, being the land comprised
in Crown lease, Vol. 5a, folio 141, and evidence having been
lodged of the loss of the said Crown lease, I hereby give notice
that I will issue the provisional Crown lease as requested
unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before
the 14th day of March, 1901.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto
existing between JAMES PARSONS and JOHN WILLIAMSON,
of Whakataki, Hotelkeepers, is hereby dissolved as from
this date. Mr. James Parsons will carry on the business,
and will pay all debts and liabilities of the late firm.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore
subsisting between us, the undersigned JOSIAH BAL-
LANTYNE, WILLIAM BALLANTYNE, THORNE BALLANTYNE, and
JAMES RICHARD TRIGGS, carrying on business in copartner-
ship at Christchurch and elsewhere under the style or firm
of “J. Ballantyne and Co.,” was, on the 19th day of August,
1900, dissolved by effluxion of time so far as regards the said
James Richard Triggs, who has retired.
