Rural Lands in the Wellington Land District open for Selection on Lease in Perpetuity.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Land for Settlements Consolidation Act, 1900,” and the one-hundred-and-thirty-sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said one-hundred-and-thirty-sixth section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on and after the nineteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and one; and that the said lands may be selected on lease in perpetuity only, subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892”; and I do hereby declare that the rentals at which the said lands shall be leased shall be those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto opposite the description of such lands respectively.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint CONSTANTINE MANGOS to be a Trustee, in the place of John Rodden, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Lyell Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fifteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and one.

Trustees for the Pohangina Public Cemetery appointed.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the forty-fifth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the local authority specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

The Pohangina County Council POHANGINA.
All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 32A, Suburbs of Pohangina Township. Bounded towards the north by the Pohangina Road; towards the east by the Pohangina Road; towards the south by Section No. 32; and towards the west by Section No. 32: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and one.

Trustees for the Waipuku Public Cemetery appointed.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

Alexander Brown, Charles Arnold Jones, Ambrose Ridd, John Davidson, and George Charles Blanchard. WAIPUKU.
All that parcel of land in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 12 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 46, 48, 50, 52, Waipuku Village. Bounded on the north by Fooke’s Street, 350 links; on the east by Fenwick Street, 596 links; on the south by Section No. 7 of Block IX., Huiroa, 350 links; and on the west by Sections Nos. 51, 49, 47, 45, 596 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and one.
