Small Grazing-runs, Kaikoura County, open for Selection.

THE under-mentioned small grazing-runs will be open for selection at the District Lands and Survey Office, Blenheim, and the Land Office, Kaikoura, on and after Monday, the 25th February, 1901.

If more than one application be received for the same run on the same day, then the order of selection shall be decided by ballot on Wednesday, the 27th February, 1901, at 11 a.m., at the Land Office, Kaikoura.

SCHEDULE.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.—KAIKOURA COUNTY.

*Interest and sinking fund on hut, valued at £15, repayable in seven years by half-yearly instalments of £1 5s. 11d. Total half-yearly payment for Run No. 109, £97 4s.

†Interest and sinking fund on buildings, valued at £780, repayable in fourteen years by half-yearly instalments of £39 7s. 10d. Total half-yearly payment for Run No. 111, £148 15s. 9d.

‡ Interest and sinking fund on buildings, valued at £160, repayable in ten years by half-yearly instalments of £10 7s. 3d. Total half-yearly payment for Run No. 112, £63 11s 8d.

§ Reserve A, 1,003 acres (stock reserve), is offered for lease for fourteen years only, and the tenant is to be bound to depasture travelling stock at the rates specified in pamphlet.

Run No. 475: Situated in the County of Fiord. Bounded towards the north by Dusky Sound and Cascade Cove; towards the east by Run 492; towards the south by Chalky or Dark Cloud Inlet; towards the west by the ocean.

Run No. 493: Situated in Waimumu Hundred, County of Southland. Bounded towards the north by Sections 32, 17, and 16, Waimumu Hundred; towards the east and south-east by Sections 24 and 23, Waimumu Hundred; and towards the south-west by Crown lands.

Possession will be given on the 1st March, 1902.

The purchaser must deposit a statutory declaration as required by section 195 of “The Land Act, 1892,” and pay the sum of the half-year’s rent and the license-fee on the fall of the hammer. Valuation for improvements must be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue before the licensee will be let into possession.
