Sections 27 to 30, Block I., Glenorchy District, and Section 39, Block I., Upper Wakatipu District (Class II.), Lake County: Area, 221 acres; term, seven years; upset annual rental, £1. Situated about two miles from Glenorchy.

Possession will be given on the 1st March, 1902. Valuations for improvements in respect to the above runs must be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue, Dunedin, before the licensee will be let into possession. Such valuations shall, exclusive of the value of a rabbit-proof fence, in no case exceed three times the amount of the average annual rental paid under the expired or expiring license during the term thereof, and five times such amount in cases where the annual rental does not exceed £50. The above runs will be sold generally in accordance with the provisions of Part VI. of “The Land Act, 1892.” Purchasers must deposit statutory declarations required by section 195 of “The Land Act, 1892,” and pay the first half-year’s rent, together with license-fee (£1 1s.), on fall of the hammer.

THE under-mentioned Crown lands will be open for sale or selection, in terms of section 136 of “The Land Act, 1892,” either for cash, for occupation with right of purchase, or for lease in perpetuity, at the option of the selector, on and after Tuesday, the 12th March, 1901.

If more than one application be received for the same section on the same day, then the order of selection shall be decided by ballot on the following day, at 11 a.m., at the District Lands and Survey Office, Invercargill.
