NOTICE is hereby given that PATRICK FLANAGAN, of Hukerenui, Storekeeper, was this day adjudged bankrupt; and I hereby summon a meeting of creditors, to be held at my office, on Tuesday, the 10th day of December, 1901, at 2.30 o’clock.

MINING NOTICES.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882.”; and in the matter of the Second Magnetic Gold-dredging Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above company, held in the Board-room of the Agricultural Hall, Crawford Street, Dunedin, on Tuesday, the 3rd December, 1901, at 7.30 p.m., the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

A further resolution was passed at the above meeting appointing RICHARD THOMAS WHEELER, Jun., of Dunedin, Liquidator of the said company for the purposes of such winding-up.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” that a General Meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the office of Mr. R. T. Wheeler, jun., Colonial Mutual Buildings, Princes Street, Dunedin, on the 14th February, 1902, at 2.30 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the liquidation thereof, shall be disposed of.

Wheeler, jun., Colonial Mutual Buildings, Princes street, Dunedin, on the 28th February, 1902, at 10.30 a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the liquidation thereof, shall be disposed of.

Wheeler, jun., Colonial Mutual Buildings, Princes street, Dunedin, on the 27th February, 1902, at 11.30 a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the liquidation thereof, shall be disposed of.

Wheeler, jun., Colonial Mutual Buildings, Princes Street, Dunedin, on the 25th day of February, 1902, at 11.30 a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the liquidation thereof, shall be disposed of.

THE TEREMAKAU GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at Dunedin on the 13th day of November, 1901, the following resolution was passed, and was duly confirmed at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting held on the 3rd December, 1901:—

“That it is desirable to reconstruct the company, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that William Thomas Monkman, of Dunedin, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” that a General Meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the registered office of the company, Lower Rattray Street, Dunedin, on Monday, the 17th day of March, 1902, at 4 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the liquidation thereof, shall be disposed of.

In the matter of the Gibbston Coal-pits (Limited).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at Dunedin on Monday, the 2nd day of December, 1901, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

And at the same meeting GEORGE ROBINSON CHEESEMAN, of Dunedin, Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.
