WAIHEMO COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD PURPOSES.

Under “The Public Works Act, 1894.”

PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for road purposes within the Waihemo County, and that it is the intention of the local authority, to wit, the Waihemo County Council, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” to take the said parcel of land for road purposes. And notice is hereby further given that copies of the plan of the said parcel of land to be taken are deposited at the office of the said Waihemo County Council at Palmerston, Otago, and are there open for inspection. The said parcel of land stands in the name of John Walsh as owner.

All persons affected are hereby called upon, if they have well-grounded objections to the execution of such public work, or the taking of such land, to set forth such objections in writing, and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk to the Waihemo County Council, at the office before mentioned.

SCHEDULE OF LAND TO BE TAKEN.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Otago, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods and 23 poles, more or less, being part of Section numbered 10, Block VII., Waihemo Survey District, shown by a red colour on the above-mentioned plan.
