IT is hereby notified that, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred by section 9 of
“The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,”
HARRY TREDENHAM FITZHERBERT CARLYON,
of Highfield, Kirwee, has been appointed an officer for the
purposes of that Act for that part of the Provincial District
of Canterbury to the north of and including the Rakaia
River, and for the waters of the Clarence River which are
within the County of Marlborough.
