In the matter of the Golden Cradle Company (Limited).
At an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at the Otago Stock Exchange, Princes Street, Dunedin, on the 21st day of August, 1900, the following special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company, also duly convened, and held at the same place on the 10th day of September, 1900, the following resolution was duly confirmed, viz.:—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily.”
And at such last-mentioned meeting JOHN FERGUSON HARPER, of Dunedin, Sharebroker, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of the winding-up.

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Otago and Southland District.
In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and the several Acts amending the same; and in the matter of the Great Western Gold-dredging Company (Limited).
Notice is hereby given that a Petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 12th day of September, 1900, presented to his Honour Mr. Justice Williams, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by Robert Blair Denniston, of Dunedin, Merchant, a creditor of the said company; and the said petition is directed to be heard by the said Court, at Dunedin, on Tuesday, the 25th day of September, 1900, at the hour of 11 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charges for the same.

At an extraordinary general meeting of the Riverbank Gold-dredging Company (Limited), duly convened, and held at Dunedin on Wednesday, the 5th day of September, 1900, the subjoined extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—
“ That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and accordingly that it is advisable to wind up the company voluntarily.”
