Additional Land taken at Oamaru for the Purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway to take further land at Oamaru, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-eight and one hundred and sixty-seven of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

The parcels of land mentioned hereunder :—

Approximate Area of each of the Parcels of Land taken. Being Situated in the
A. R. P. 0 0 4 Part of siding opposite Allotments 3 and 4, Oamaru Harbour Board Endowment Town of Oamaru.
0 0 0·6 Part of Allotment 4, Oamaru Harbour Board Endowment Town of Oamaru.
0 2 11·4 Allotment 10, and part of other part of Oamaru Harbour Board Endowment Town of Oamaru.

All in the Land District of Otago; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 18769, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured red and purple.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred.

Additional Land near Aramoho taken for the Purposes of the Foxton-New Plymouth Railway.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Foxton-New Plymouth Railway to take further land near Aramoho in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-eight and one hundred and sixty-seven of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the Land District of Wellington; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 18770, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
