FORD to the MANAWATU PERMANENT EQUI-
TABLE BUILDING AND INVESTMENT SOCIETY,
being part of Section 335, Palmerston North, and being part

folio 204, and evidence having been lodged of the loss of the
original lease, I hereby give notice that I intend to dispense
with the production of the said lease and register the mort-
gage as requested, unless caveat be lodged forbidding the

WELLINGTON MAIN DRAINAGE.—NOTICE OF
INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of “The Public Works Act, 1894.”
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of
Wellington proposes, under the provisions of “The
Municipal Corporations Act, 1886,” and the several Acts
amending the same, and “The Wellington City Sanitation
Loan Empowering Act, 1892,” to take under the provisions
of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” the land mentioned in
the Schedule hereto for the purposes of the said City
Council’s drainage system of and for the City of Wellington,
and in particular as a means of obtaining access to a swallow
and manhole and sewer (forming parts of the said drainage
scheme) now existing on Section 462 of the said city, for the
purposes of cleansing, repairing, and renewing the same
respectively, which manhole and swallow are shown on the
plan hereinafter referred to: And notice is hereby further
given that a plan showing the land required to be taken,
together with the names of the owners and occupiers of such
land, so far as they can be ascertained, is deposited in the
public office of the City Engineer to the said Council,
situate at the corner of Featherston Street and Panama
Street in the said city, and is open for public inspection
without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours, and
that all persons affected by the taking of the said lands
shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the
taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send
such writing within forty (40) days from the first publication
of this notice to the said City Council, addressed to the Town
Clerk at the offices of such Council, situate in Brandon
Street in the same city.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
THE Partnership or Firm of “Browne and Thornley,”
consisting of the undersigned, COLIN BROWN BROWNE
and HUGH RICHARDS THORNLEY, Dairy-farmers, Awatuna,
Taranaki, is dissolved, as from this date, by mutual consent.
The business will in future be carried on by Hugh Richards
Thornley, and all debts owing to the late firm are to be
paid to, and all liabilities of the late firm will be paid by,
the said Hugh Richards Thornley.
