"THE WEST COAST SETTLEMENT RESERVES ACT, 1892."

NOTICE TO NATIVE OWNERS and LESSEE of a MEETING to be held at the WAITOTARA-MOMO-HAKI ROAD BOARD OFFICE, WAITOTARA, at 10 o’clock a.m. on Friday, the 10th August, 1900, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE to TEMPLE FRERE of Section 419, Okutuku, Wairoa Survey District, in the Provincial District of TARANAKI, containing 505 acres 3 roods 29 perches (more or less), being Land comprised in confirmed Lease No. 20.

TO Tahua, Mere Katua, Te Ringa Heta, Moko-kore Matanginui, Turua Matanginui (trustee, Mere Katua), Te Rapa Matanginui (trustee, Mere Katua), Patumoana Uruteangina, Wiremu Kanika, Taiei Rahui, Eruera te Aika, Te Wiri-hana Pakira, Miriama te Atamarama, Te Kura Tawhiti, Puakotiri, Ruihi Pakinga (trustee, Puakotiri), Waitotoria Kiae, Piripi Pauro, Rotohiko Rerepare, Wi Pauro, Wiki te Hukingahuia, Nga-ramo te Rawaho, Hana te Ikatere, Piripa Tuta-wha, Wi Pauro Tutawha, Hoani Hakaraia te Uawiri, Rawinia te Uawiri, Toia te Uawiri, Hau-rangi te Uawiri, Te Tua Uawiri (trustee, Hoani Hakaraia te Uawiri), Te Uranga Kaiwhare, and the other Native owners of all that piece of land situate in the Provincial District of Taranaki, being Section 419, Okutuku, Wairoa Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 505 acres 3 roods 29 perches (more or less), being the land comprised in confirmed lease No. 20, and to Temple Frere, of Waverley.

Whereas the above-named Temple Frere has given notice to me, under the provisions of section 8 of “The West Coast Settlement Reserves Act, 1892,” that he desires to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above described; and I consider his application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said Temple Frere and all the Native owners of the above-described land for the purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first twenty-one years of the new lease; and I fix the Waitotara-Momohaki Road Board Office, at Waitotara, as the place where, and Friday, the 10th day of August, 1900, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.
