Postmaster appointed to take and receive Statutory Declarations.
PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the eighth section of “The Justices of the Peace Act Amendment Act, 1888,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that
JOHN PHILP VAUSE,
being a person holding the office of Postmaster, under “The Post Office Act, 1881,” at Te Awamutu, is authorised to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-and-thirty-fourth section of “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”

Auckland Naval Artillery Volunteers, for refusing to attend the parades of his corps when called upon to do so by his superior officer. Dismissal to date from the 7th July, 1900.
