Additional Land in Kaihu Survey District taken for the Purposes of the Kaihu Valley Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaihu Valley Railway to take further land in Kaihu Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-eight and one hundred and sixty-seven of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

THE parcels of land mentioned hereunder:—

Approximate Area of each of the Parcels of Land taken. Being Portion of Situated in Block No. Situated in the Survey District of
A. R. P. 2 1 22 Opanake No. 1c Block II. Kaihu.
1 1 28 Opanake No. 2L Block II. Kaihu.

All in the Land District of Auckland; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 18923, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured red and yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Foxton-New Plymouth Railway to take further land in Westmere Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-eight and one hundred and sixty-seven of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.
