Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that paradise ducks may be taken or killed within the Marlborough District, as defined in the aforesaid Warrant, from the tenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred, to the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred, both days inclusive.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this ninth day of May, one thousand nine hundred.

Notifying Land in Auckland for Sale by Public Auction.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirty-sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on and after the fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase or on lease in perpetuity, or, in respect of any land containing or supposed to contain any metal, mineral, or valuable stone, be selected on lease in perpetuity only; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892.”

Section 1, about 80 acres open land of medium quality, balance first-class volcanic land, level and undulating, covered with forest. Section 2, about 60 acres medium and inferior quality land, balance first-class volcanic land, forest-clad, level and undulating, and containing a good spring of water. Sections 3, 4, and 5, all first-class volcanic land, forest-clad, with gentle slope from mountain. Section 7, about 60 acres good volcanic land and 20 acres bush; inferior soil; good water.

Sections 4, 5, and 6, all forest and volcanic land of first-class quality. These lands are situated from ten to twelve miles from Whangarei and two miles from Poroti.
