I HEREBY declare that portion of the Norsewood-South Makaretu Road more particularly described below to be a county road, viz.:

The road commencing at the Ngamoko Main Road, and going towards the Manawatu River, fronting Sections 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 31, Block III., Norsewood S.D.; thence through corner of Section 32, Block III., Norsewood S.D.; thence through Blocks 5b and 1x of the Rakautatahi Native Block; thence cutting into Section 38, Block III., Norsewood S.D.; and thence to the Makaretu River.

THE NEW ZEALAND COLLIERIES RAILWAY AND OIL SYNDICATE (LIMITED), (IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION).

NOTICE is hereby given that the creditors of the New Zealand Collieries Railway and Oil Syndicate (Limited) are required, on or before the 31st day of May, 1900, to send their names and addresses, together with full particulars of their debts or claims, to WILLIAM P. WATSON, of Crawford Street, Dunedin, the Agent for the Liquidators of the said company. If notice in writing shall be given by the Liquidators or their Agents to any person making any claim upon the company, such person shall, by himself or his solicitor, come in and prove his debt or claim at the time and in the place specified in such notice, and in default of so doing will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts or claims are proved. If any creditor desires his solicitor to act on his behalf, the name and address of such solicitor must be sent to the Agent of the Liquidators.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between FRANK LEONARD BONE and THORNTON CHARLES LITTLEWOOD HOLROYD as Ironmongers, under the style or firm of “Bone and Holroyd,” has been dissolved as from the 31st day of March, 1900, by mutual consent.

All accounts due by the late firm will be paid by the said Frank Leonard Bone, to whom all moneys due to the late firm must be paid, and whose receipt will be a sufficient discharge for all moneys received by him.

NEW ZEALAND TO WIT.

In the matter of a Bill intituled “The Ohinemuri Gasworks Act, 1900.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Ohinemuri Light and Power Company (Limited), whose registered office is at Queen Street, in the City of Auckland, in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, intends to present a petition to the General Assembly of New Zealand at its next session, praying for leave to introduce a Bill to be intituled “The Ohinemuri Gasworks Act, 1900.”

By the said Bill it is intended to take power to, and confer power upon, the said Ohinemuri Light and Power Company (Limited) and its assigns, authorising it and them, under the superintendence of the Ohinemuri County Council and its officers, to break up streets and bridges in and through the Township of Paeroa, within the Ohinemuri County, in the said Provincial District of Auckland, and in and through its suburbs for a radius of five miles from the Post-office at Paeroa, and to lay down and place pipes, and to make and construct other works for supplying the said Township of Ohinemuri and suburbs with gas. It is also intended by the said Bill to take power to, and to confer power upon, the said Ohinemuri Light and Power Company (Limited) and its assigns to sue for the recovery of rents, for gas supplied, and to impose penalties for the wilful destruction of the property appertaining to the works or other the property of the company, and for the establishment and general management of gasworks in the said Township of Ohinemuri and suburbs. And it is notified hereby that the limits within which such gasworks are erected or made are 5 acres 3 roods and 20 perches, situate in the said Township of Paeroa, and having a frontage to the Puke Road.

Copies of the said Bill will be deposited in the office of the Examiner of Standing Orders on or before the commencement of the session.
