RUN No. 144, Gore Survey District: Area, 600 acres; term, 10 years; upset annual rental, £5.

Very broken country, covered with scrub and light bush, mostly cedar.

The above run will be sold generally in accordance with the provisions of Part VI. of “The Land Act, 1892.”

Possession will be given on day of sale.

Purchaser must deposit a statutory declaration required by section 62 of “The Land Act, 1892,” and pay the sum of the half-year’s rent and license-fee (£1 1s.) on the fall of the hammer.

The right is reserved to resume any portion of the run for public purposes.

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned land will be opened for selection on lease in perpetuity, at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Monday, the 26th February, 1900, under the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892,” “The Land for Settlements Act, 1894,” the Land for Settlements Act Amendment Acts, 1895 and 1896, and the regulations made thereunder.

If more than one application be received for the same allotment on the same day, then the order of selection shall be decided by ballot at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland. If the sections be not applied for on the 26th February, they will be open for application thereafter at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland.

TERMS OF LEASE.

1. The lessee to have the right to use the land for grazing purposes only.

2. The lessee shall have no right to fell or remove from the land any live or dead trees or timber, whether standing or lying on the ground.

3. All persons duly authorised in that behalf shall have free right of ingress, egress, and regress for any of the purposes of “The New Zealand State Forests Act, 1885,” or for felling or removing from the land any trees or timber as aforesaid.

4. The lessee at the expiration of the term of his lease may remove all fencing and buildings erected by him on the land.
