NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land
hereinafter described will be brought under the pro-
visions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat
be lodged forbidding the same within one month from the
date of Gazette containing this notice.

part of Native Reserve 7, Fitzroy District, 109 acres 1 rood
6 perches. Occupied by Thomas Veale.

“THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1894.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Tuapeka County
Council intends to take the parcel of land mentioned
in the list hereunder for the purpose of a road, and that a
plan of such land, duly certified, is open for inspection at
the County Office, Lawrence, during all reasonable hours.
All persons affected must set forth in writing any well-
grounded objections to the execution of such works or to the
taking of such lands, and send such writing, within forty
days from the first publication of this notice, to the said
Council.

“THE CANTERBURY COLLEGE AND THE CANTER-
BURY AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE ACT, 1896.”

WILLIAM FREDERICK McLEAN BUCKLEY, of
Dunsandel, Sheep-farmer, and ROBERT RAINEY,
of Lincoln, Sheep-farmer, being the only persons duly nomi-
nated to fill the ordinary vacancies on the Board of Governors
of the Canterbury Agricultural College by the Agricultural
and Pastoral Societies duly incorporated under “The Agri-
cultural and Pastoral Societies Act, 1877,” having their
principal offices in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
and by the members of the Legislative Council resident
within the Provincial District of Canterbury, and members
of the House of Representatives representing electoral dis-
tricts within the said Provincial District of Canterbury,
being the respective electors entitled to fill the said vacancies
respectively, I hereby declare the said WILLIAM FREDERICK
McLEAN BUCKLEY and ROBERT RAINEY to be duly elected to
the said vacancies by the said electors respectively.

In the matter of the Hauraki Peninsula Exploration Com-
pany (Limited), (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that the creditors of the above-
named company are required, on or before the 20th
day of March, 1901, to send their names and addresses, and
the particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and
addresses of their solicitors, if any, to Oliver George Browne,
of Dashwood House, New Broad Street, London, E.C., the
Liquidator of the said company, and, if so required by notice
in writing from the said Liquidator, are, by their solicitors,
to come in and prove their said debts or claims, at such time
and place as shall be specified in such notice, or in default
thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any dis-
tribution made before such debts are proved.

were passed at an extraordinary general meeting of
shareholders of the Town and Suburban Racing and Sports
Company (Limited), duly convened, and held at Napier on
the 14th day of November, 1900, and confirmed as special
resolutions at an extraordinary general meeting of the share-
holders of the company duly convened for that purpose, and
held at Napier on the 5th day of December, 1900, namely,—
“That the Town and Suburban Racing and Sports Com-
pany (Limited) be wound up voluntarily.”
