Notice of the Laying-off of a Road through Section 17, Block XI., Hautapu Survey District.

NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under the authority of section 92 of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” that the road described in the Schedule hereto was, on the 24th May, 1899, duly taken and laid off through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said colony, by a warrant dated the 25th March, 1899.

As the said area is delineated upon the plan marked as above mentioned, deposited in the District Office of the Lands and Survey Department, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above stated.

Notice of the Laying-off of a Road through Rakautatahi Block, Takapau Survey District.

NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under the authority of section 92 of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” that the road described in the Schedule hereto was, on the 24th February, 1899, duly taken and laid off through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said colony, by a warrant dated the 20th May, 1899.

As the said area is delineated upon the plan marked as above mentioned, deposited in the District Office of the Lands and Survey Department at Napier, in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, and thereon coloured as above stated.

Notice of Intention to take Land for a Road through Blocks V. and VIII., Mangatoro No. 1 Block, Mangatoro Survey District.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road through Blocks V. and VIII., Mangatoro Survey District, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is further given that the plans of the said road and of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the Post-office at Dannevirke, and are there open for inspection. And notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister for Public Works, Wellington.

Revocation of Appointment of Bonding Warehouse.

CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the authority in me for this purpose vested, I, the Commissioner of Trade and Customs, do, by this order under my hand, revoke and annul the appointment of the under-mentioned warehouse for the reception and security of goods entered to be warehoused without payment of duty upon the first entry thereof, namely :—

Port of Napier.

The warehouse known as

MURRAY’S BOND,

as appointed and described in Commissioner’s Order No. 148, of the 29th day of August, 1881.
