APPLICATION FOR WATER-RACE.

To the Warden of the Hauraki Mining District, at Thames.

PURSUANT to “The Mining Act, 1898,” the undersigned Chelmsford Gold-mining Company (Limited), of Auckland, hereby applies for a license for a water-race, as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.

Date and number of miner’s right: 2nd November, 1899; No. 8045.

Starting from a point on Salvation Creek on Chelmsford S.Q.C., and, after picking up the water of a tributary marked A on the plan, terminates on the special site applied for by the applicant. Pegs marked I. Forty-two years. About 2,300 ft.: south-east and then north-east. Six months; £500. 3 ft. by 3 ft. Four. Mining purposes in connection with the Chelmsford S.Q.C.
