MARUWENUA ESTATE.

All that area in the Otago Land District, situated in Maruwenua and Awamoko Survey Districts, and containing by admeasurement 11,150 acres 3 roods 36 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-west by the Maruwenua River and Sections Nos. 23 and 24, Block III., Maruwenua Survey District; towards the north-east generally by Allotments Nos. 85, 86, 87, 88, and 89, Maruwenua Estate, by the Oamaru Municipal Reserve, Sections Nos. 33, 31, and 32, Block III., Awamoko Survey District, by the road along the southern bank of the Waitaki River, and by Section No. 25, Block II., Awamoko Survey District; towards the east by the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 12, Block II. aforesaid; towards the south by the road forming the southern boundary of the Maruwenua Estate and by Block II., Maruwenua Survey District; and towards the west by Block VI., Maruwenua Survey District: excluding from the aforesaid area the lands occupied by the railway and the Oamaru Borough Water-race Reserve: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 18935, deposited at the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington.

TOKA-RAHI SETTLEMENT.

All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 11,051 acres 2 roods 9 perches, more or less, situated in Blocks II., VI., VII., and VIII., Maruwenua Survey District. Bounded towards the west by Block IX. of said district; towards the north-west by the Maruwenua River; towards the south-east by the Livingstone-Duntroon Road; towards the north-east by parts of original Sections Nos. 6 and 7, Block VI.; towards the east and north by Block III. of said district; again towards the east by original Sections Nos. 6 and 4 of Block II.; again towards the south-east by the Awamoko Stream; again towards the east by other part of original Section No. 3 of Block VIII., all of said district; and towards the south by Block X. of Kauroo Survey District, exclusive of the freehold of A. A. McMaster: being a piece of land containing by admeasurement 1,500 acres 2 roods 5 perches, more or less, within the above-described boundaries, and edged with red on the plan hereinafter referred to: as the above-described area is delineated upon the plan marked S.G. 19016, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged by a broken brown line.

OKAUIA SETTLEMENT.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being part of the Okauia No. 1 Block, situate in Blocks XIV. and XV., Wairere Survey District, and III. and IV., Tapapa Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 5,919 acres 1 rood 30 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north generally by the Wairere Stream; towards the east by other part of the Okauia No. 1 Block, 32681 links; towards the south by the Okauia No. 4 Block, 25905 links; and towards the west by the Waihou River, by the Okauia No. 5 Block, 700, 840, and 700 links, and again by the Waihou River: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 19193, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged with red.

POERUA SETTLEMENT.

All that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3,230 acres 1 rood 6 perches, more or less, being sections numbered 1586, 1587, 1649, 1562, and 1684, in Te Kinga Survey District; as the same is delineated upon the plan marked S.G. 19173, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged with red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-third day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine.

Trustees for the Manuherikia Cemetery appointed.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the forty-fifth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the local authority specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

All that parcel of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 19 perches, more or less, situate in the Fraser District, and being Section No. 38 of Block I. of said district. Bounded towards the north-west by Crown lands, 82 links; towards the north-east by Crown lands, 135 links; towards the south-east by Crown lands, 99 links; and towards the south-west by Crown lands, 134 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twentieth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine.
