Additional Land taken in Maruwhenua Survey District for the Purposes of the Duntroun and Hakataramea Branch of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Duntroun and Hakataramea Branch of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway to take further land in Maruwhenua Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-eight and one hundred and sixty-seven of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

The parcel of land mentioned hereunder:—

In the Land District of Otago; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 18435, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine.

Land set apart for State Forest Purposes in the Land District of Taranaki.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The New Zealand State Forests Act, 1885,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto, forming part of the Crown lands in New Zealand, as and for State forests within the provisions of the said Act.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-sixty-eighth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the allotments of Crown land respectively described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for lease as village-homestead allotments.
