IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
OTAGO AND SOUTHLAND DISTRICT.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and the several Acts amending the same; and in the matter of the Golden Mascotte Sluicing Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that a Petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 8th day of August, 1899, presented to the said Court at Dunedin by John Wells, a contributory of the said company, and the said petition is directed to be heard before his Honour Mr. Justice Williams, in Chambers, on Friday, the 18th day of August, 1899, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Acts should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

TAUPIRI EXTENDED COAL-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” that a General Meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the office of the company, Fort Street, in the City of Auckland, on Monday, the 16th day of October, 1899, at the hour of 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.
