visions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be
lodged forbidding the same on or before the 14th day of
August, 1899.

VOLUNTARY WINDING-UP UNDER “THE COM-
PANIES ACT, 1882.”

WANGANUI FRUIT EVAPORATING AND PRESERVING COMPANY
(LIMITED).

THE following special resolution was passed at an extra-
ordinary general meeting of shareholders held at the
company’s office, Wanganui, on 31st May, 1899, and con-
firmed at an adjourned meeting held at the same place on
14th June following: “That it has been proved to our satis-
faction that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, and it is advisable to wind up the
same.”

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for
the first insertion and 3d. per line for the second and any
subsequent insertion.

Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged
23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before three o’clock of the day
preceding publication.

Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders
should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Pub-
lic a/c,” and exchange added.

Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment
from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are
issued.

Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to
prevent delay in publication a sufficient remittance should
accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be
returned with receipted account.
