PURSUANT to the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand passed in the forty-fourth year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, and intituled “The Marriage Act, 1880,” the following names of Officiating Ministers within the meaning of the said Act are published for general information:—
Church of the Province of New Zealand, commonly called the Church of England.

Notice published pursuant to the Provisions of Section 15 of “The Public Trust Office Consolidation Act, 1894.”

NOTICE is hereby given that, no person having taken out administration, the Public Trustee has filed in the office of the Supreme Court at Wellington an election to administer the several intestate estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations, so far as known, are hereunder respectively set forth, their gross properties being estimated not to exceed £250 in each case.

NOTE.—The weather during this month has been unpleasant in consequence of the frequent though not heavy rain, the maximum rainfall being only 0·75 in., on 30th; the winds have been variable and moderate; the temperature generally rather below the average; fogs occurred on seven days. Maximum temperature in shade 59°, minimum 35°; mean temperature of dew-point, 41°·4; mean humidity, 77.

Civil Service Senior Examination.

IN pursuance of regulations under “The Civil Service Reform Act, 1886,” notice is hereby given that for the Senior Examination of January, 1900, the period of literature will be from 1744 to 1800, and the special books will be Shakespeare’s “Julius Cæsar” and Thackeray’s “Esmond.”
