MANGONUI COUNTY.

Hohoura Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in
Blocks I., II., V., VI., IX., X., XIII, XIV., and XV.,
Hohoura East Survey District, containing by admeasurement
25,500 acres, more or less. Commencing at the intersection
of the sea-coast by the eastern boundary of Block I., Hohoura
East Survey District, and bounded thence towards the north-
east generally by the sea, by the Hohoura and Rarawa
Blocks, by Section No. 5 of the Parish of Muriwhenua, by
Sections Nos. 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 of Block X.,
Hohoura East Survey District, by the Hohoura Kauri-gum
Reserve Extension proclaimed in Gazette of the 13th April,
1899, by the Hohoura Kauri-gum Reserve proclaimed in
Gazette of the 21st December, 1898, by Sections Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6,
7, 8, and 9 of Block XI., and Sections Nos. 3, 5, and 6 of
Block XV., Hohoura East Survey District, by a public road,
and by Section No. 4 of the Parish of Muriwhenua to its
southernmost angle; towards the east by a right line running
thence due south to the southern boundary of Hohoura East
Survey District; towards the south by the said boundary;
towards the south-west by the sea; towards the west by a
right line running parallel to and at a distance of 15,000 links
in a westerly direction from the eastern boundary of
Blocks I., V., IX., and XIII., Hohoura East Survey District,
by a public road, and by the continuation of the line last men-
tioned; and towards the north by a right line running due
east to the point of commencement: save and except
Sections Nos. 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of Block V., and Section
No. 27 of Block X., Hohoura East Survey District, from the
area hereinbefore described.

Opoe Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in
Blocks I., II., III., IV., and V., Opoe Survey District, contain-
ing by admeasurement 24,350 acres, more or less. Bounded
towards the north by the northern boundary of Opoe Survey
District; towards the east by the eastern boundary of the
same district, by the north-western boundary of Section
No. 1 of Block IV., Rangaunu Survey District, and by a right
line being its production to the northern boundary of Section
No. 1 of Block IV., Opoe Survey District; towards the south
by that section and the Opoe Kauri-gum Reserve Extension
proclaimed in Gazette of the 13th April, 1899; again towards
the east by said Opoe Kauri-gum Reserve Extension, and by
the Opoe Kauri-gum Reserve proclaimed in Gazette of the
21st December, 1898; again towards the south by Blocks VII.
and VI., Opoe Survey District; and towards the south-west
by the sea, by Section No. 3 of the Parish of Muriwhenua,
and again by the sea to the point of commencement.

Otaia Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 3.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in
Block I., Rangaunu Survey District, containing by ad-
measurement 2,150 acres, more or less. Bounded towards
the north-east and east by Rangaunu Bay; towards the
south by the Otaia Kauri gum Reserve Extension No. 2
proclaimed in Gazette of the 13th April, 1899, and the Otaia
Kauri-gum Reserve proclaimed in Gazette of the 21st
December, 1898; and towards the west by the western
boundary of Rangaunu Survey District to the point of com-
mencement.

Rotoroa Kauri-gum Reserve Extension.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in
Blocks VI., VII., and VIII., Opoe Survey District, Block I.,
Ahipara Survey District, and Block I., Takahue Survey
District, containing by admeasurement 16,000 acres, more
or less. Bounded towards the north by Blocks IV. and V.,
Opoe Survey District, by the Opoe Kauri-gum Reserve pro-
claimed in Gazette of the 21st of December, 1898, and by
Section No. 5 of Block V. aforesaid; towards the east gene-
rally by Rangaunu Bay, by Sections Nos. 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1
of Block VII., Opoe Survey District, by land granted to W.
Maxwell (O.L.C. No. 6), by the Rotoroa Kauri-gum Reserve
proclaimed in Gazette of the 21st December, 1898, by a
public road, by Section No. 4 of Block VIII., Opoe Survey
District, again by the Rotoroa Kauri-gum Reserve afore-
said, by Sections Nos. 19, 20, and 21 of the Parish of
Awanui, by a public road, by Section No. 22 of the same
parish, by land granted to S. H. Ford (O.L.C. No. 159), and
by the Awanui River; towards the south-west by the north-
eastern boundary of the Parish of Ahipara; and towards
the west by the sea to the point of commencement.

Puheke Kauri-gum Reserve Extension.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in
Block III., Rangaunu Survey District, containing by ad-
measurement 3,675 acres, more or less. Bounded towards
the north by Block IV., Karakara Survey District, and Sec-
tion No. 3 of that block; towards the east by Doubtless Bay;
towards the south by the Puheke Kauri-gum Reserve pro-
claimed in Gazette of the 13th April, 1899; and towards the
west by Block II., Rangaunu Survey District, to the point
of commencement.

Ohia Kauri-gum Reserve.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in
Blocks V. and IX., Rangaunu Survey District, containing
by admeasurement 5,600 acres, more or less. Bounded to-
wards the north by the Puheke Kauri-gum Reserve pro-
claimed in Gazette of the 13th April, 1899; towards the
north-east by Doubtless Bay; towards the south generally
by a Native reserve, by the Whakaitu Stream, by section
No. 8 of Block IX., Rangaunu Survey District, by a public
road from Lake Ohia, and by the Puketceoe Kauri-gum Re-
serve Extension proclaimed in Gazette of the 13th April,
1899; and towards the west by Rangaunu Bay to the point
of commencement: save and except Section No. 40 of the
Parish of Waiake from the area hereinbefore described.

Parapara Kauri-gum Reserve.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in
Blocks IX. and XIII., Rangaunu Survey District, and
Blocks IV. and VIII., Mangonui Survey District, containing
by admeasurement 2,200 acres, more or less. Bounded
towards the north by Section No. 11 of the Parish of Taipa,
and by a public road; towards the east generally by Sec-
tions Nos. 5 and 4 of the Parish of Taipa, by a public road,
by the Taipa River, by Sections No. 1 of Block IV., and
No. 1 of Block VIII., Mangonui Survey District, and by the
Paranui Stream; towards the south by Murphy’s land
grant; and towards the west generally by Sections Nos. 3,
2, and 1 of the Parish of Kaiaka, by land granted to
W. Clarke (O.L.C. No. 9), and land granted to J. Matthews
(O.L.C. No. 9) to the point of commencement.

OTAMATEA COUNTY.

Kaiwaka Kauri-gum Reserve.

All that area in the Auckland Land District being Section
No. 29 and north-eastern portion of Section No. 30 of the
Parish of Kaiwaka, and containing by admeasurement
168 acres and 27 perches, more or less. Bounded towards
the north-east by Section No. 28 of the Parish of Kaiwaka;
towards the south-east by a public road; towards the south-
west by the south-western portion of Section No. 30 of the
Parish of Kaiwaka; and towards the north-west by Section
No. 31 of the said parish to the point of commencement.

Terms and Conditions of Village-homestead Allotments in
Wellington.

RANFURLY, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this tenth
day of June, 1899.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE A. J. CADMAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by the one-hundred-and-sixty-ninth section
of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the
Governor in Council may fix the terms and conditions upon
which the lands in any village settlement shall be disposed
of, subject as in the said section is provided: And whereas
by a Proclamation made under the said Act on the four-
teenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and
ninety-nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on
the twenty-third day of March, one thousand eight hundred
and ninety-nine, the lands described in the First Schedule
hereto have been set apart under the said Act and declared
open for lease as village-homestead allotments, and it is
expedient to fix the terms and conditions upon which the
said lands shall be disposed of:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred by the said Act, and by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby fix the terms and conditions on which
the lands mentioned in the First Schedule hereto shall be
disposed of by way of lease in perpetuity, and which said
terms and conditions are set forth in the Second Schedule
hereto, and also doth direct that the lands shall be leased a
village-homestead allotments only.
