NOTICE is hereby given that, no person having taken out administration, the Public Trustee has filed in the office of the Supreme Court at Wellington an election to administer the several intestate estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations, so far as known, are hereunder respectively set forth, their gross properties being estimated not to exceed £250 in each case.

Notice by the Public Trustee under “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894.”
To the owner or owners of a parcel of land, containing 16 perches, more or less, being part of Rural Section 321, in or near the Town of Kaiapoi, having a frontage to Ohoka Road of 100 links by a depth of 100 links. The last registered owner is William Hutchinson, described as of Kaiapoi, storekeeper, who is reported to be dead, leaving no known relatives. The land is in the occupation of Joseph Loveday, of Kaiapoi, labourer.
WHEREAS the Public Trustee has instituted inquiries, and has not thereby ascertained who the owner or owners of the above-described land is or are, and believes that such owner is, or owners are, not in the colony:
Now, this notice calls upon such owner or owners, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his or their title to the land specified in this notice; and, if such owner does or owners do not, within the time limited, so establish his or their title, the Public Trustee will exercise the powers and authorities granted to him in and by “The Unclaimed Lands Act, 1894.”

To the owner or owners of a parcel of land, containing 40 acres, more or less, being the south-eastern portion of Allotment 52, Parish of Waikiekie, Block 15, Tangihua Survey District, in the Provincial District of Auckland. The grantee is is O. P. Sweeting, of whose whereabouts nothing is known.
WHEREAS the Public Trustee has instituted inquiries, and has not thereby ascertained who the owner or owners of the above-described land is or are, and believes that such owner is, or owners are, not in the colony:

To the owner or owners of a parcel of land, containing 1 acre, more or less, being Allotment 63, Section 2, Town of Opotiki, in the Provincial District of Auckland. The only registration in respect of this land is a sale-note dated the 8th February, 1867, from John White, described as of Opotiki, settler, to Joseph Mulligan, described as of Auckland, licensed victualler, neither of whom can be traced. The said John White is the grantee of the land, and therein described as “late private in First Regiment of Waikato Militia.”
WHEREAS the Public Trustee has instituted inquiries, and has not thereby ascertained who the owner or owners of the above-described land is or are, and believes that such owner is, or owners are, not in the colony:
