  1. These regulations, with the exception of regulation

    and regulation No. 4 shall come into force on the 1st day

Notifying Land in Wellington for Sale by Public Auction.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of
“The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of
Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby appoint Wednesday, the fourteenth day of June,
one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, as the time
at which the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall
be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the price at
which the said land shall be sold as that mentioned in the
said Schedule hereto.

Weighted with £300 for improvements.
This section is situated in the West Waitapu Village,
close to Post- and Telegraph-office, store, and school. The
access is from Feilding, which is about sixteen miles distant
by the Makino Road and Mackie’s line; there is a good
coach-road from Feilding, and daily coach service. The
section comprises flat land, felled and in grass, and the soil
is of good quality, resting on papa-and-shingle formation.
The improvements comprise a creamery, machinery, well,
fencing, &c.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twentieth day of March, one thousand eight
hundred and ninety-nine.

Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby
