All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated upon the plan marked as above mentioned, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above noted.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine.

Otago Dock Trust subject to the Provisions of “The Public Bodies’ Powers Act, 1887.”

RANFURLY, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of March, 1899.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE J. MCKENZIE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Otago Dock Trust, being a leasing authority within the meaning of “The Public Bodies’ Powers Act, 1887” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), has requested that these presents should issue, and it appears expedient to make the order herein contained:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the Otago Dock Trust shall, as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, be subject to the provisions of the said Act; and, further, that the Order in Council dated the second day of May, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight, published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fifth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight, declaring the said trust to be subject to the provisions of the said Act, is hereby revoked.

Sale of Native Game in Marlborough Acclimatisation District prohibited for One Year.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN exercise of the power and authority conferred by section five of “The Animals Protection Act Amendment Act, 1895,” and pursuant to a recommendation made in this behalf by the Colonial Secretary of the colony, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that no native game of any kind shall be sold within the Marlborough Acclimatisation District, as defined in the Schedule hereto, for a period of one year, commencing from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.


SCHEDULE.

All those parts of the Colony of New Zealand consisting of the Counties of Marlborough and Sounds, together with the Boroughs of Blenheim and Picton and the Town District of Havelock.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twentieth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine.
