Setting apart Land in the Canterbury Land District for Leasing as Small Grazing-runs.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the one-hundred-and-seventy-second section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections one hundred and seventy-two to one hundred and eighty-six of Part V. of “The Land Act, 1892,” relating to small grazing-runs.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the second section of “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act Amendment Act, 1891” (herein termed “the said Act”), it is, amongst other things, enacted that, before certain moneys therein mentioned shall be expended upon any block of land, it shall be necessary that the same be proclaimed as set apart for settlement:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the said Act, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the block of land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for settlement.
SCHEDULE.
KAIKOKOPU BLOCK.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 7,397 acres, more or less, being Sections Nos. 1A, 2A, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 of Block XVI., Maketu Survey District; Sections Nos. 1A, 2, and 4 of Block IV., Rotoiti Survey District; Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 of Block IX., Waihi South Survey District; and Section No. 1 of Block I., Rotoma Survey District: as the same is delineated upon the plan marked S.G. 39103, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged with red.
