I, THE undersigned, hereby make application to register
the No. 2 Big River Gold-mining Company as a
limited company under the provisions of “The Mining
Companies Act, 1894.”

1. The name of the company is to be the No. 2 Big River
   Gold-mining Company (Limited).
2. The place of intended operations is on Section 45,
   Block X., Waitahu Survey District.
3. The registered office of the company will be situated in
   Smith Street, Reefton.
4. The nominal capital of the company is thirteen thousand
   five hundred pounds, divided into fifty-four thousand shares
   of five shillings each.
5. The number of shares subscribed for is fifty-four thou-
   sand, being not less than two-thirds of the entire shares in
   the company.
6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
7. The amount already paid up is nil.
8. The name of the Manager is Bernard Patrick McMahon,
   of Reefton, Mining Agent.
