I, THE undersigned, hereby make application to register
the No. 2 Big River Gold-mining Company as a
limited company under the provisions of “The Mining
Companies Act, 1894.”
- The name of the company is to be the No. 2 Big River
Gold-mining Company (Limited). - The place of intended operations is on Section 45,
Block X., Waitahu Survey District. - The registered office of the company will be situated in
Smith Street, Reefton. - The nominal capital of the company is thirteen thousand
five hundred pounds, divided into fifty-four thousand shares
of five shillings each. - The number of shares subscribed for is fifty-four thou-
sand, being not less than two-thirds of the entire shares in
the company. - The number of paid-up shares is nil.
- The amount already paid up is nil.
- The name of the Manager is Bernard Patrick McMahon,
of Reefton, Mining Agent. - The names, and addresses, and occupations of the share-
holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date,

the Golden Cave Reefing Company as a no-liability
company under the provisions of “The Mining Companies
Act, 1894.”
- The name of the company is to be the Golden Cave
Reefing Company (No Liability). - The place of operations is at Cuttle Cove, Preserva-
tion Inlet. - The registered office of the company will be situated at
the office of J. W. Mitchell, Esk Street, Invercargill. - The value of the company’s property, including claim,
is one thousand pounds. - The number of shares in the company is twenty-four
thousand, of one pound each. - The number of shares applied for is eight thousand.
- The name of the Manager is George Bailey.
- Five pounds per cent. of the subscribed capital has
been paid. - The names, and addresses, and occupations of the
shareholders, and the number of shares held by such at this

(Limited), (in liquidation), will be held at the office of the
company, Hobson’s Buildings, Shortland Street, Auckland,
on Thursday, the 20th day of April, 1899, at the hour of
11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of receiving
balance-sheet and report by the Liquidator.
