A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the second section of “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act Amendment Act, 1891” (herein termed “the said Act”), it is, amongst other things, enacted that, before certain moneys therein mentioned shall be expended upon any block of land, it shall be necessary that the same be proclaimed as set apart for settlement:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the said Act, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the block of land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for settlement.
SCHEDULE.
TANGIHUA BLOCK.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 4,659 acres 3 roods 17 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 11, of Block IV., Maungaru Survey District; and Sections Nos. 37 and 38 of Block II., Tangihua Survey District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 42423, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged with red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3,026 acres 3 roods 29 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 1 and 5 of Block I., and 1 and 2 of Block II., Mangaorongo Survey District; Sections Nos. 1 and 3 of Block XIII., and 1, 2, 4, and 5, of Block XIV., Puniu Survey District; as the same are delineated upon the plan marked S.G. 42474, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
