The centre of this block is about thirty miles distant from Owaka Railway-station and thirteen miles from Waikawa Steamboat Wharf, both by dray-road. Mail from Waikawa every Tuesday and Saturday. There is a school and also a dairy factory on the adjoining Block No. XI.
