Mining Notice.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT WATER-RACE.
Hauraki Mining District,
14th November, 1898.
To the Warden at Paeroa.
WE hereby give notice that we intend to construct a water-race to divert and use water for domestic purposes, commencing at a point on Waterfall Creek, Waitekauri, 51 chains above the bridge across Waitekauri Creek, and terminating at the main road in Waitekauri Township.
The length of such race is 51 chains or thereabouts, and its intended course is westerly. The water to be conveyed in underground pipes, and to be used for a domestic water-supply for the inhabitants of the Township of Waitekauri.
It is proposed to divert two Government heads of water.
Cost of construction: £900.
Time required for construction: Six months.
Number and date of miner’s right: 33157; 30th July, 1898.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT ROAD-LINES IN BLOCKS IX. AND X., WAITOHU SURVEY DISTRICT, COUNTY OF HOROWHENUA, PROVINCIAL DISTRICT OF WELLINGTON.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the Otaki Road Board, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of road-lines in Blocks IX. and X., Waitohu Survey District; and for the purpose of such public works the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
Notice is further given that plans of the said roads and of the lands so required to be taken are deposited for inspection at the office of the Otaki Road Board, Otaki.
And notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said lands are called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said works, and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Otaki Road Board aforesaid, at their office in Otaki aforesaid.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, held at the registered office of the company, 218, Hereford Street, Christchurch, on the 21st October, 1898, the following special resolution was passed, and the same confirmed at a further meeting held on the 15th November, 1898:—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily.”
A further resolution was passed appointing George William Hulme, of Christchurch, Accountant, as Liquidator.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882”; and in the matter of the Onehunga Ironworks Company (Limited), a company incorporated under the said Act, and now in liquidation.
NOTICE is hereby given that, the affairs of the above company having been fully wound up, a General Meeting of Shareholders of the said company will be held on Tuesday, the 24th day of January, 1899, at 3 p.m., at the office of Mr. Andrew Hanna, Solicitor, corner of Queen and Swanson Streets, in the City of Auckland, for the purpose of receiving the account of the Liquidator, showing the manner in which the winding-up of the said company has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator.
