THE GALLANT TIPPERARY QUARTZ - MINING COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

AMENDED NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given, in terms of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held in the office of William Brown and Co., Queen’s Rooms, Crawford Street, Dunedin, on Friday, the 20th day of January, 1899, at 11 o’clock forenoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing explanations to be given by the Liquidator; and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator shall be disposed of.

NOTICE is hereby given that, the affairs of the above company having been fully wound up, a General Meeting of shareholders of the said company will be held on Friday, the 20th day of January, 1899, at 3 o’clock p.m., at the office of Mr. A. Hanna, Solicitor, corner of Queen and Swanson Streets, in the City of Auckland, for the purpose of receiving the account of the Liquidators showing the manner in which the winding-up of the said company has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidators.

NOTICE TO NATIVE OWNERS OF LAND.

UNDER the provisions of section 2, subsection (1), of “The Rating Act Amendment Act, 1896,” the Wallace County Council hereby requires the respective Native owners of each parcel of land named in the Schedule hereunder, by writing under the hands of a majority of them, to nominate one of such owners of each parcel of land to represent all the owners and occupiers for the purposes of rating.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the company, held at the company’s office, at Waitara, on Monday, the 31st day of October, 1898, at 11 a.m., the subjoined resolutions, which were passed at the extraordinary general meeting of the company held on the 10th day of October, 1898, were confirmed as special resolutions:—

1. That the sale of the company’s interests in the works and barges by the Directors for £3,000 be confirmed, and that the present company be voluntarily wound up in accordance with section 189 and the following sections of “The Companies Act, 1882.”

2. That Mr. James Hine be appointed sole Liquidator.
