In the matter of the succession to the interest of Henare te Ranga, deceased, in Lot 1, Section 108, and Lot 1 of 193, Parapara Block, Golden Bay, Nelson, and of an application by Taringa Ngakupa under section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”

WHEREAS the above application was referred by me to the Native Land Court for inquiry and report, and the same has been duly reported on: And whereas it appears that the Court, by two several orders dated the 23rd day of November, 1883, appointed two persons—viz., Poriana and Mata, the children of a sister of the said Henare te Ranga—to succeed to his interest in the lands above mentioned: And whereas it further appears that there were other persons in equal degree of relationship to the deceased whose names were not made known to the Court, and who were consequently omitted from the said order: And whereas there is good reason to believe that such omission was not intentional, and that the Court intended to include in the said order the names of all persons in the same degree of relationship to the said Henare te Ranga:
