NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within one month from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

  1. SIR ALEXANDER MEADOWS RENDEL and JAMES MEADOWS RENDEL.—Parts of Allotments 35A and 36A, Section 3, Suburbs of Auckland, containing 8 acres 2 roods 11 perches. Occupied by various weekly tenants.

Mining Notices.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and of the Golden Lead Gold-dredging Company (Limited).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above company, duly convened, and held at the Municipal Buildings, Port Chalmers, on the 6th day of September, 1898, the following extraordinary resolution was passed: “That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that accordingly the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions in that behalf of ‘The Companies Act, 1882.’” And at the same meeting FREDERICK WILLIAM PLATTS, of Port Chalmers, Solicitor, was appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882”; and in the matter of the Kaitangata Railway and Coal Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary meeting of the Kaitangata Railway and Coal Company held on the 13th day of August, 1898, the resolutions set out at the foot of this notice were passed, and that at an extraordinary general meeting of the said company held on the 3rd day of September, 1898, the said resolutions were confirmed.

Resolutions.

  1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.

  2. That the directors be appointed Liquidators of the company, three to form a quorum, and that their remuneration be at the same rate as now received by them as directors for one year.

  3. That the Liquidators be empowered to give effect to an agreement dated the 30th day of December, 1896, expressed to be made between the company of the one part and Robert Lee of the other part.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Office or place of business of the above-named company is now at Bank of New Zealand Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland; and that Mr. STANLEY SEVERIN SORENSEN, of Auckland, Mining Engineer, has been, under the powers vested in us, duly appointed Attorney, General Manager, and Local Secretary of the said company, in the place and stead of Mr. André Pierre Griffiths, resigned.
