In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882”; and in the matter of the South Makirikiri Steam Threshing Company (Limited).

I, CHARLES CARGILL KETTLE, Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wanganui for the District of Wellington, do hereby notify that an affidavit, a copy of which is hereunder given, by REGINALD EDWARD BECKETT, the Secretary of the South Makirikiri Steam Threshing Company (Limited), has been lodged in the Stipendiary Magistrate’s Court at Marton, and forwarded to me, and that unless notice of objection be lodged with me within sixty days of this date, I shall proceed to declare the said company to be dissolved, in manner provided by “The Companies Act, 1882.”

I, REGINALD EDWARD BECKETT, of Marton, in the County of Rangitikei and Provincial District of Wellington, in New Zealand, Auctioneer, the Secretary of the South Makirikiri Steam Threshing Company (Limited), incorporated under “The Companies Act, 1882,” do hereby make oath and say,—

  1. That the nominal value of the said company is five hundred pounds (£500), in twenty shares of twenty-five pounds (£25) each.

  2. That the shares have been fully paid up.

  3. That the company has no assets, and has ceased to carry on its operations.

And I, the said Reginald Edward Beckett, do hereby apply for declaration of dissolution of such company.

THE CATHOLIC TIMES COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” that a General Meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company will be held at the office of the Westport Coal Company, Manners Street, on Friday, the 2nd day of December, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator; and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the Liquidator thereof, shall be disposed of.
