IT is hereby notified that the under-mentioned reserve will be offered for lease for a term of fourteen years, under “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Friday, the 21st day of October, 1898, at 11 a.m.
SUBURBS OF AUCKLAND.
Lot 55A, Section 12, between St. John’s College, Tamaki, and Mount Wellington, containing 24½ acres; upset annual rent, £10.
Term of lease, fourteen years, without right of renewal, and for grazing purposes only. The lease conveys no right to remove the stone or metal.
No compensation for improvements will be allowed at any time.

Small Grazing-run in the County of Waimea, Nelson, open for Lease on Application.

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned small grazing-run will be open for lease on application, at the District Lands and Survey Office, Nelson, on and after Wednesday, the 2nd November, 1898, at the annual rental noted below. In the case of more than one application for the run on the same day, priority of selection will be decided by ballot on the following day, at 11 a.m.
Waimea County, Whangamoa Survey District, Section 3, Block IV.: 1,088 acres; annual rental, £10; second-class land.
Situated on the shores of Tasman Bay, near Croixelles Harbour, from which it can be reached by a good track. There is some fairly good land at Omokau Bay, which is a good landing-place, and from which produce could be shipped; but the remainder is fern, tussock, and scrub hills, with a little birch bush. Highest altitude, 1,000 ft.

Situated about three miles and a half from the Dipton Railway-station. This section is mostly open, broken land, well watered; vegetation, silver-tussock, with fern and tutu; good pastoral land, with small parts ploughable. The section is burdened with £20, being the value of black-pine and kowhai growing upon it; also with £175 8s. 6d. for improvements thereon, consisting of fencing, £129 3s. 6d.; sheep-dip and yards, £36; 15 acres ploughed, £5 5s.; hut, £5.

Situated about twelve miles from Fortrose, on the Otara–Waikawa Road. Soil fair and well watered; mixed bush of rimu, miro, and kamai. Burdened with valuation of £64 for improvements, consisting of house, £35; garden, £1 10s.; outhouse, £1; fencing, £2 10s.; and 16 acres in grass, £24.
