Additional Land taken in Wairarapa Survey District for
the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-
Napier Railway to take further land in Wairarapa Survey
District, in addition to land previously acquired for the
purposes of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred on me by “The Public
Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority
in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

The several parcels of land mentioned hereunder :—

Approximate Area of each of the Parcels of Land taken. Being Portion of Section No. Situated in Block No. Situated in the Survey District of
A. R. P. 2 0 37 140 III. Wairarapa.
2 1 26 138 III. Wairarapa.
1 1 17 143 III. Wairarapa.

All in the Land District of Wellington; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
18277, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public
Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wel-
lington, and thereon coloured and edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly;
Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished
Order of Saint Michael and Saint George;
Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over
Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its
Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at the Government House, at
Wellington, this twentieth day of August, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
ninety-eight.

Purposes of the Whangarei-Kamo Railway Extension.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Whangarei-
Kamo Railway Extension to take further land in Purua
Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for
the purposes of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred on me by “The Public
Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority
in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is taken for the purposes above mentioned.

The parcel of land mentioned hereunder :—

In the Land District of Auckland; as the same is more
particularly delineated upon the plan marked P.W.D. 18284,
deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at
Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly;
