Native Land Court Notices.
"The Native Land Court Act, 1894."
IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT OF NEW ZEALAND.
In the matter of the Kawhia Block, and of an application by Rangiaho Waitai on behalf of Tete Tawhiao under section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”
WHEREAS the above application was referred by me to the Native Land Court for inquiry and report, and such inquiry was held at Otorohanga on the 4th day of July, 1898, by Walter Edward Gudgeon, Esquire, a Judge of the said Court: And whereas, as the result of such inquiry, it appears that by an error or omission on the part of the Court the said Tete Tawhiao has been deprived of the shares to which he was entitled as successor to Tuporo Tawhiao, deceased, in Kawhia C4, Kawhia F, Kawhia P, and Kawhia T:
Now, therefore, for the purpose of rectifying such omission, and in exercise of the power vested in me as Chief Judge of the said Court by section 39 aforesaid, I hereby order that the said Tete Tawhiao be awarded one share additional in each of the said blocks, and that the orders of Court made on the subdivision of the Kawhia Block be amended as necessary to give effect to this award and to the order hereby made.
I direct that notice hereof be given in the Gazette and Kahiti.
As witness my hand, this 12th day of August, 1898.
GEO. B. DAVY, Chief Judge.

IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT OF NEW ZEALAND.
In the matter of Horowhenua No. 3, and of an order of the Native Land Court, under “The Maori Real Estate Management Act, 1888,” dated the 21st day of April, 1890, appointing Ria Raikokiritia trustee of the interest of Taimona te Ahuru (or Taimona Pita te Ahuru) in the said block.
WHEREAS application has been made to me, under section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” to set aside the said order on the ground that the same was made in error: And whereas, on inquiry held under the provisions of section 39 aforesaid, it appears that there was such error, and that the said order was made by the Court under the mistaken belief that the said Taimona te Ahuru was of weak intellect and incapable of managing his affairs:
Now, therefore, for the purpose of remedying such error, and in exercise of the powers in that behalf vested in me by section 39 aforesaid, I hereby annul the said order appointing Ria Raikokiritia to be trustee for Taimona te Ahuru.
And I direct that notice hereof be given in the Gazette and Kahiti.
As witness my hand, this 10th day of August, 1898.
GEO. B. DAVY, Chief Judge.
