COUNTY OF WAITEMATA.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROADS.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the Waitemata County Council, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” to execute certain public works, to wit, the construction of roads in the County of Waitemata, and for the purpose of such public works the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is further given that copies of the plans of the said roads, and of the lands so required to be taken, are deposited at the County Office, Palmerston Buildings, Auckland, and are there open for inspection. All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said lands shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the Waitemata County Council, Palmerston Buildings, Auckland.

THE Partnership hitherto existing between and carried on by us under the style or firm of “Hallberry and Bittelmeyer,” Fellmongers, Hokowhitu, Palmerston North, has been this day dissolved by mutual consent. Mr. Hallberry will carry on the business for the future in his own name.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between WILLIAM PREBBLE, late of Napier, Fruiterer, and ANDREW GILMORE, of Napier, Coachbuilder, in the business of Coachbuilders, and carried on under the style or firm of “Gilmore and Co.,” was dissolved as from the date of the death of the said William Prebble, which occurred on the 9th day of May, 1898; and that the business will, as from the date aforesaid, be carried on by the said Andrew Gilmore alone.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned JOHN CHRISTIE and JAMES ROBERTSON, carrying on business as “Christie and Robertson,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st instant. The business of the late firm will be carried on by James Robertson, under the old style of “Christie and Robertson,” and all debts due to and owing by the late firm will be received and paid by him.

The works to be undertaken are formation and metalling, and culverts and drains for the passage of surface-water.
The owners of the lands affected are Arthur F. Bridges, Robert Scott, Walter Wethered, and Hemi Whakaitenga.
Any person having an objection to the taking of the above lands, or who may be injuriously affected by the works proposed, must state their objection in writing, and send the writing to the office of the Cook County Council, at Gisborne, within forty days from the date of this notice.
A plan of the lands, and of the road to be constructed, is on view at the office of the Cook County Council, Gisborne.
