THE PAPAROA CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY FACTORY COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT a general meeting of this company, held on the 18th June last, the following resolutions were carried :—
(1.) “That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of ‘The Companies Act, 1882,’ clause 189.”
(2.) “That Oliver C. Hames be appointed Liquidator.”
The above resolutions were duly confirmed at a special meeting called for that purpose held on the 9th day of July, 1898.

SPECIAL ORDER CONSTITUTING THE PAEROA WATER-SUPPLY DISTRICT.

OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL.—NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Council of the Ohinemuri County, held at the County Chambers, Paeroa, on Wednesday, the 23rd December, 1896, the following resolution was passed, viz. :—

“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in the Council by ‘The Counties Act, 1886,’ and all other powers enabling the Council in that behalf, and in pursuance of the ratepayers’ petition in that behalf presented to the Council, that portion of the County of Ohinemuri comprising all that area bounded as follows—that is to say, commencing at the intersection of left bank, Tarariki Creek, with Ohinemuri River, by a line following said bank in an easterly direction to the old goldfield’s boundary-line; thence by a line running northerly along the old goldfield’s boundary to the north-east corner of Puru-o-te-Rangi No. 2; thence by a line along the northern boundary of said Puru-o-te-Rangi No. 2 Block, running westerly to the north-west corner of said block; thence by a straight line running northerly to the angle situated near the centre of the southern boundary of Taiwhakarewakauri A Block; thence by a line running westerly along the southern boundary of the said Taiwhakarewakauri A Block to the south-west corner of Taiwhakarewakauri Block No. 2; thence by a straight line running southerly to the eastern corner of Hararahi No. 2; thence by a straight line running westerly across the said Hararahi No. 2 Block to a point 10 chains to the north of the western corner of the said Hararahi No. 2 Block, and on its western boundary; thence by a straight line running north-westerly to the eastern of No. 3446, Rau-o-te-Huia; thence along the southern boundary of the said Rau-o-te-Huia Block in a westerly direction to the right bank of the Waihou River; thence along the right bank of the said Waihou River and the right bank of the Ohinemuri River in a southerly direction to the point where the southern boundary of Ouekaharau No. 2 intersects the right bank of the Ohinemuri River; thence in an easterly direction by a line running along the southern boundaries of Ouekaharau No. 2 and Kakanui to a point where the said southern boundary of Kakanui intersects the right bank of the Ohinemuri River thence easterly along the right bank of the Ohinemuri River to the west side of the Aroha and Paeroa Railway; thence southerly along the side of the Paeroa-Aroha Railway until its intersection with the west side of the Mill Road; thence southerly along the west side of Mill Road to its intersection with the right bank of Kuaoiti Creek; thence southerly along the right bank of Kuaoiti Creek to the southern corner of Koromatua No. 1A; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of Koromatua Nos. 2A and 3A to the south-east corner of Koromatua 3A; thence easterly along the southern boundary of the Tawa Block to its intersection with the left bank of the Ohinemuri River; thence by a straight line easterly across the Ohinemuri River to a point on the right bank being a prolongation of the southern boundary of Te Tawa Block; thence in a generally easterly direction along the right bank of the Ohinemuri River to the intersection of the left bank of the Tarariki Creek with the right bank of the Ohinemuri River, being the point of commencement—shall form, and, after the 3rd day of February, 1897, be, a water-supply district, to be called the ‘Paeroa Water-supply District.’”

Confirmed at a special meeting of the said Council, duly convened, and held this 27th day of January, 1897.
